How it Works.

Whilst Barramundi are the main fishing species stocked you may also catch Bream, Mangrove Jack, Cod and numerous other species. Our fish range from 35cm to many well over 1 meter. 

We cater for all fishermen, from beginners and families to the experienced angler. Spectators are always free. Disability friendly

Opening Hours

Fishing is now run in sessions, with 2 sessions per day of 2.5 – 3 hours duration (duration of sessions may vary on public holidays and in winter periods)

1 Morning Session and 1 Afternoon Session.

Bookings are essential for all sessions Hours may vary so please check our website or social media for the up to date opening hours and special events.

Summer Hours

September 6th to June 1st.
Open 7 days a week 10am to 4:30pm.

Closed Christmas Day.

Winter Hours

June 1st to September 6th.
Open Thurs & Fri 12pm to 5pm
Open Sat and Sun 10am to 4:30pm

Closed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

FAQs

Children must be at least 4 years old to participate. Children aged 3 and under are not permitted on the Aqua Park.

Yes. Children aged 4, 5 and 6 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on a one-to-one basis. The accompanying adult is responsible for the child at all times.

Children aged 7 years and over can participate independently without a parent or guardian accompanying them on the Aqua Park.

Standard Aqua Park sessions last for 50 minutes and run every hour on the hour. Longer session options and all-day passes may also be available.

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled start time. This gives you enough time to check in, complete any required forms, collect your wristband, get fitted with a life vest and attend the safety briefing.

Yes. Capacity limits apply to each session, so bookings are essential to secure your place.

Yes. All participants must complete the online All Park Waiver before accessing the Aqua Park.

Start by checking in at the kiosk. You’ll complete the required check-in process, make any outstanding payment and receive a colour-coded wristband for your session. From there, head to the Aqua Park entry point for your life vest fitting and safety briefing.

Yes. All Aqua Park participants are fitted with a life vest before entering the water.

Yes. All participants must attend the safety briefing before entering the Aqua Park.

No. The same participation price applies to all guests, regardless of age.

Guests can choose from a range of options, including 50-minute sessions, 100-minute sessions and all-day passes. Seasonal memberships are also available for visitors who plan to come regularly.

Yes. Seasonal membership options include Spring, Summer, Winter and Full Season memberships. A 12-month membership covering the Aqua, Barra and Wake Parks is also available for guests looking for year-round access.

Opening hours change throughout the year.

Summer:
From 5 September to 11 December, the Aqua Park is open 7 days a week from 10am to 4pm.

From 12 December to 30 April, it is open 7 days a week from 10am to 5pm, excluding Christmas Day.

Winter:
From 1 May to 5 September, the Aqua Park operates on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 3pm.

No. The Aqua Park is closed on Christmas Day.

Yes. Gift vouchers are available and can be used towards experiences including the Aqua Park, Wake Park and Barra Fishing Park.

Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase.

Yes. The park hosts events throughout the year. Check the What’s On section for upcoming events and activities.
